Wantagh Massage Parlor Busted

Nassau cops busted an illegal Wantagh massage parlor Aug. 10 and charged the employees with prostitution.

According to detectives from the Nassau County Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Bureau, undercover officers went to the Sunday Day Spa at 3381 Merrick Rd. and were met by the employees. They were escorted to rooms with massage tables.

While performing a massage for $40, one employee, Yun Gao, 37, of 44-37 College Point Blvd. Flushing, offered to perform a sexual act for cash.

Gao and Yuanyuan Yan, 37, of 6936 Kissena Blvd. Flushing were both arrested and charged with Prostitution, Unauthorized Practice a Crime. Yun Gao was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Practice a Crime.

Neither was registered with the New York State Office of Professional Service and is not licensed to practice massage therapy in the State of New York.

Yan and Gao will be arraigned in Hempstead today.
